Summer Goalie Clinic

It is our pleasure to invite you to our summer 2012 “Goalie

Clinic”.  We have been offering training for goalies ever since

we began our program 26 year ago.  As our clinic grew, so

did our attention to training goalies.   In 1999, we asked

John Racine to join our staff as our lead goalie instructor and

he has done a wonderful job developing our goalie programs.

John brings several years of experience training goalies and

will head our summer goalie clinic.

Our goalie clinic is designed for goaltenders of all ages.  The

ice will be divided into stations and goalies will be grouped

by age and ability.  Each station will be staffed by our trained

instructors and experienced shooters for each age group.

Our Summer Goalie Clinic will follow our proven format of

7 weekly ice sessions skating for one hour each week.  The

practice plans will progress through the different moves and

saves that a goalie is required to make and will focus on

proper movement and execution of those saves.  The practice

plans will also provide ample opportunity to practice these

saves each week.

Feedback on our past goalie practices suggest that what sets

us apart from other programs is the quality of our shooters.

Other goalie clinics offer shooter clinics in coordination with

their goalie instruction.  We prefer to keep our focus on our

goaltenders, and therefore we use our more experienced

players in order to provide the quality shots necessary to

train goalies.

The tuition for our Goalie Clinic is $200 and will provide

seven hours of on ice instruction, a high quality jersey, and

over 100 years combined experience in developing goalies. 

A deposit of $100.00 is due with your application, and the

balance is due by the first session.  Applications will be

accepted on a first come, first served basis and space is

limited to 30 goaltenders.  Upon receipt of your application,

we will send you a schedule and a conditioning program that

we encourage you to work on in preparation for the clinic.
